Rochester, MN - The RCTC Yellowjackets moved to 2-0 with a 3-0 win ovr North Central University (MN). The two teams were tied 0-0at the half before the jackets scored 3 unanswered in the second half to secure the win.
RCTC got a goal and an assist from Emma Shceppmann to lead the way. Emily Morales continued her hot start with a goal, giving her 4 goals in the first two games of the season. Maddy Harden picked up a goal, while Lilly Farrand picked up a pair of assists for the Jackets. "We got another quality win today against an NCAA DIII opponent. We had a pretty good first half, out shooting our opponents 12-0. We had a much better second half though as we were able to connect more quality passes, which led to better quality shots.
Chloe Mart picked up the win, with 1 save. RCTC is back in action on Wednesday, as they take on Anoka-Ramsey at home. Game time is 6:00pm at the Regional Stadium.
