Jackets have big second half enroute to 5-1 win over Anoka-Ramsey

Rochester, MN - The RCTC Yellowjackets had a solid first half against Anoka-Ramsey at the Regional Stadium on Wednesday night but couldn't get on the scoreboard.  The second half proved to be a different story as the Jackets scored five goals to win 5-1 over the Golden Rams.

After a scoreless first half, the Jackets got goals from Maddy Harden, Mila Van de Velde, Kaylee Narveson, Emily Morales, and Lilly Farrand enroute to the win.

Harden, Van de Velde, Narveson, and Emma Scheppmann also picked up assists on the night.  Chloe Mart picked up the win with 6 saves on 7 shots for RCTC.

Coach Weiss stated "The coaching staff is really proud of how we are playing early in the season.  The balance that we showed today is a good indicator of how the team is progressing."

RCTC is now off until Saturday, September 14, when they host conference foe Alexandria Tech at 3:00pm.
