Rochester, MN - The top ranked non-scholarship RCTC Yellowjackets took on #2 ranked overall Indian Hills on Friday night, and Indian Hills came away with the 37-6 win. The two teams had a number of tightly contested matches with only one match being decided by pin. The Jackets Austin LeFlay won by pin over #3 ranked Andrew Marquez at 197.
At 125 #7 ranked Isaac Gibbs down RCTC's #5 ranked Tyson Wilson by major deision, while #1 ranked Riley Bettich wona great match against RCTC's #9 ranked Jake Aho (6-3). The Jackets lost tightly contested matches at 141 and 285 with perhaps the best match of the night coming at 157 where Hunter Gartmann from RCTC fell 1-0 to #5 ranked Brice Coleman from Indian Hills.
The Jackets are back on the mat Saturday Deember 14th at the Triton Open in River Grove, IL. This is the last competition of the fall semester for the RCTC.
