RCTC women roll to 79-44 win over St. Cloud

St. Cloud, MN - The RCTC women lead after the first period against St. Cloud 26-11 and never looked back in cruising to a 79-44 win over the Cyclones.  The Jackets found their shooting touch, which has been missing as of late in hitting 56% from the floor.  Macaya Copeland lead all scorers with 28 points on 11-15 shooting.  Copeland was also 5-7 from the three-point line and had a game high 4 steals.  

Reigning MCAC player of the week Kara Goetzinger added 15 points on 7-9 shooting, while Nyomi Crushshon added 11.  The Jackets forced 24 Cyclone turnovers and held them to 38% shooting for the contest.   RCTC had 16 steals in the game including the 4 by Copeland and 3 each for Crushshon and Aniyah Reuben.

RCTC is back on their home floor next Wendesday February 12th against Ridgewater, before hosting MN West on the 15th for the Southern Division title.
